DR. A. BESANT C. RAJ is a well-known and respected Management and Financial consultant in India and abroad. He is an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (first batch). He also holds a doctoral degree in Business Administration, specializing in Financial Management from the Harvard Business School, Harvard University, USA. He has a Master's degree in Philosophy from Madras University and a Master's degree in Psychology from Banaras Hindu University. After a distinguished teaching career, which includes his tenure as the Director of Studies at the Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad, Dr. Raj founded the Management Consultancy Company, Besant Raj International Ltd (BRIL), at Chennai in 1979 with his wife.

Dr. Raj is the founder and former Chairman of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI), Hyderabad. He is on several corporate boards and till recently was on the board of Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI). He is closely associated with several educational institutions like the Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Development Banking of IDBI and was the Chancellor of the ICFAI University Dehradun, Uttaranchal. He is currently the Chairman of the board of The Madras Christian College, Tambaram, Chennai. He is also on the boards of Ispat Industries Ltd., Henkel India Ltd., Cochin Minerals and Rutile Ltd., SPEL Semi Conductor Ltd.

Dr. Raj has carried out several prestigious International and National consultancy assignments, which include clients such as The Ford Foundation, New York; The Common Wealth Fund for Technical Co-operation, London; The Economic Development Institute of the World Bank and the Iraq National Oil Company.

Dr. Raj was a member of the Panel of Judges to evaluate the performance of integrated Steel plants in India, for the Prime Minister's Award for the year 2000 - 2001. He was also a member of an Expert Committee appointed by the Tamil Nadu Government to evaluate the working of the State Level Public Enterprises in Tamil Nadu.

DR. (MRS.) AMIRTHA BESANT RAJ holds a Ph.D, in Industrial Psychology from Osmania University. She has specialized in Guidance and Counselling and has taken Ed.M. (Master of Education) from Boston University, USA. She holds another Master's degree in Psychology from the Banaras Hindu University and a Master's degree in Education from Madras University.

Dr. (Mrs.) Raj has extensive teaching, training and consultancy experience for more than three decades. She was a Faculty at the
Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad.

Dr. (Mrs.) Raj is currently a whole time Director of Besant Raj International Limited (BRIL). She heads the Psychometric Testing, Recruitment Services, Career & Educational Counselling division. Under her able guidance, the company offers a variety of Psychometric tests to assess an individual's intelligence, interests, aptitude and personality. Several corporates use our services in Recruitment, Potential Assessment, Competency Mapping and Performance Appraisal. She has developed her own battery of Psychometric tests called HOPE TESTS, which are ONLINE, and she holds the copyright for the same.

Dr. (Mrs.) Raj is on the Board of Indigo Business Services (I) Pvt. Ltd. Chennai, a marketing services provider for FMCG companies. Besides, Dr. (Mrs.) Raj is on the Board of Directors of the Lady Doak College, Madurai. She is also on the board of St. Christopher's College of Education, Vepery, Chennai, and is the Ex-Chairperson of the C.S.I. Ewart Matriculation Higher Secondary School at Chennai.

Dr. IRENE RAJ FOSTER holds an M.A. in Economics from Madras University, a Master's degree in Management (M.S.M) from Purdue University (USA) and a Ph.D. in Business Management from Indiana University (USA). She has taught at the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University, the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University (USA). Her academic honors and awards include a Hindi Scholarship from Government of India, the Aaron Award for the Best Outgoing Postgraduate Student of Economics, and the Gunn Gold Medal- all from Madras Christian College, India. Dr. Foster is a winner of the Alden G. Clayton Award of the Marketing Science Institute (USA) for the Best Doctoral Dissertation Proposal. Her completed thesis also won an Honorable Mention in the American Marketing Association's Dissertation Awards. She is a Doctoral Consortium Fellow of the American Marketing Association.

She has served on the Board of Directors of the YWCA of Nashville and Middle Tennessee (USA) as well as on the World Relations Committee of the YWCA of the USA. Dr. Foster has also served on the Community Outreach Council of the Frist Center for the Visual Arts in Nashville and Executive Committee of the India Association of Nashville. She is part of the Davidson Group project of the City of Nashville, an initiative to bring 400 prominent Nashvillians together for dialogue to develop a vision for Nashville's future and to promote better understanding and awareness of Nashville's growing diversity. Dr. Foster is a very active member of her church. She is presently with the Tennessee State University as an Associate Professor of Economics and Marketing. Her work focuses on projects related to health economics and marketing. She is also a part time faculty in Business at Vandervilt University Business School at Nashville.

MR. REUBEN BESANT RAJ was the Managing Director of Software Spectrum (I) Limited, Bangalore. He is now the Managing Director of Genesis Technologies Inc., Texas, U.S.A. dealing in Academic Software. He is a Post Graduate in Business Administration from IIM, Ahmedabad. Prior to starting his own company, Genesis Technologies Inc., at USA, he gained considerable Marketing experience in reputed Corporates such as Computer Point Ltd. and Mc Dowells Ltd, India.

MR. IRWIN BESANT RAJ is a Post Graduate in Business Administration from IIM Calcutta. He worked for American Express Bank and Hong-Kong & Shangai Banking Corporation before starting his own Company Indigo Business Services (I) Pvt. Ltd., providing Promotional Support to highly reputed FMCG Companies for their consumer products. The Company has branches at Delhi, Bombay and Dubai. The company has won the silver award for outstanding display by POPAI (Point of Purchase Advertising International) for their trend setting visual communications solutions.
